Artist's Statement

I'm a self taught, full time studio artist working in textiles for the past 40 years. my work has taken on many forms: a part owner in an Oregon gallery in the late 70's, a weaver/designer with my own line of clothing for over 25 years. I spent a few years exploring clay, paper making, teaching enrichment classes and running weaving retreats. And then finally I found my way back to textiles in the form of 2D mixed media. I have sold my work throughout the Northwest in galleries and festivals until moving to the Mid west in the late 80's, continuing there. I have been a juror for fine Art and Craft shows. Now a full time studio artist doing Fine Arts and Craft shows all over the country. Now living in Carrollton Georgia.

Judges choice, best in show, best in category and several merit awards. I make my living selling my art at some of the top juried art shows in the country, including but not limited to, Cherry Creek Art Festival in Denver, CO, Festivals of the Masters in Orlando, FL, Park City, UT, Stat College.PA
