Artist's Statement

I'm a self taught, full time studio artist working in textiles for the past 40 years. my work has taken on many forms: a part owner in an Oregon gallery in the late 70's, a weaver/designer with my own line of clothing for over 25 years. I spent a few years exploring clay, paper making, teaching enrichment classes and running weaving retreats. And then finally I found my way back to textiles in the form of 2D mixed media. I have sold my work throughout the Northwest in galleries and festivals until moving to the Mid west in the late 80's, continuing there. I have been a juror for fine Art and Craft shows. Now a full time studio artist doing Fine Arts and Craft shows all over the country. Now living in Carrollton Georgia.
