Alan Davis

Alan Davis has been active on the Huntsville art scene since 1980.  He has been included in group shows throughout the southeast and has had solo shows at The Huntsville Museum of Art and a variety of commercial and educational venues. 

Davis states "I just try to make the pictures come alive.  I am inspired by all kinds of things: modern art, folk art, primitive artifacts, kids art, and found images of all kinds.  My theory is that if I am delighted or amazed when I am working on the paintings, then maybe someone will be delighted and amazed when they look at them."
